General Terms & Conditions

1.1 By making a booking with Alpin Motel Rotorua, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

1.2 Check-in time is from 2:00 PM, and check-out time is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

1.3 All guests must provide a valid government-issued ID and a valid credit/debit card at check-in.

1.4 Alpin Motel Rotorua is a non-smoking property. A penalty of NZD 250 will be charged for smoking inside the rooms.

1.5 No pets are allowed on the premises unless specifically approved by management.

1.6 Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay. Any damages, missing items, or excessive cleaning required will be charged to the guest’s credit card on file.

1.7 We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates our policies or engages in disruptive behavior.

2.1 All bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of reservation.

2.2 Full payment may be required upon check-in unless otherwise agreed.

2.3 We accept payments via credit cards, debit cards, and online payment platforms. Cash payments may be accepted at the discretion of the management.

2.4 A security deposit may be required at check-in. This deposit will be refunded at check-out, provided there are no outstanding charges or damages.

2.5 Rates may vary depending on demand, season, and special promotions. The price at the time of booking is final.

3.1 Flexible Rate Bookings:

  • Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the check-in date.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of check-in will incur a charge for the first night’s stay.
  • No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.

3.2 Non-Refundable Bookings:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking.
  • No refunds or changes will be allowed.

3.3 Group Bookings (More than 3 Rooms):

  • Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of check-in will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.

3.4 Early Departures:

  • No refunds will be provided for early departures after check-in.

3.5 Force Majeure:

  • In cases of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics, refunds will be at the discretion of the management.

4.1 Modifications to bookings (such as date changes) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

4.2 If a guest fails to check in on the reserved date without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

5.1 Guest information is collected solely for booking and operational purposes and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

5.2 All payment transactions are secured and processed through a certified payment provider.
